Patience is power. It is not an absence of action but rather it is timing. It waits on the right time to act, for the right principles, the right way

Ever since I started midwifery I fell in love with the whole process of allowing your spirit, soul and body to help you have a positive birth outcome. I do believe that it’s important to bring birth back to home or the feeling of home to birth, where moms can labour and birth feeling safe and secure. I constantly strive to learn from each birth and to understand each family’s specific needs through listening and observing at each encounter with the family. Free choice of birth options are important and each woman has the right to be given all the tools to make safe choices ultimately empowering her in her journey. Every time a baby is born a family changes and as a midwife it’s beautiful and humbling to witness a woman become a mother, a man become a father and children become siblings all with love, respect and honor for new life. I have had the privilege to study my Bcur Nursing degree of 4 years at the University of Johannesburg and did my community service at Rahima Moosa mother and Child Hospital before working as a midwife for Genesis clinic an then going on into private midwifery. Services include VBAC births, (Vaginal Birth After Caesarean).
