To ensure an effortless entry into starting antenatal care with us, continue with the important information as to how to go about booking your birth at Genesis Maternity Clinic.
Each mom who births at Genesis Maternity Clinic, must choose a midwife as their main caregiver and will be required to attend their antenatal consultations as per the schedule. This is so your midwife can make sure you and your baby stay healthy.
You will also be required to see a Genesis affiliated OB/GYN approximately 2-3 times in your pregnancy. The antenatal schedule is a guide and it may differ as per each expectant mother’s individual needs.
Knowing what check-ups, screenings and scans to have and when to have them during your pregnancy is important information for every pregnant woman.

Choosing a Doula
Genesis Maternity Clinic endorses Doulas. The word ‘doula’, pronounced ‘dooh-la’ – it is a Greek word meaning ‘handmaiden or caregiver’. A doula offers emotional and physical support to a woman and her partner before, during and after childbirth.
We offer a range of classes and services to support you throughout your pregnancy journey. Genesis Maternity Clinic considers education and knowledge a vital component of your journey during pregnancy. Your wellness, both physically and mentally is paramount.
