Survival CPR and First Aid Courses
Survival CPR was established in 2001 by Sr Catherine Rodwell who offered CPR and First Aid courses on a “part time” basis. She has since grown the business significantly when Catherine identified a need to provide the “man in the street” with emergency training.
They are passionate about teaching parents and care givers what to do in a medical emergency involving their loved ones. They are focused on empowering them with the skills of saving a life and believe that everybody should be taught these skills and it’s our privilege to teach them!
Our trainers are highly qualified, highly experienced medical professionals who are out there saving lives every day. Survival CPR’s courses are for parents-to-be, parents of new babies and small children and actually anyone should do this course. Learning basic life support techniques is a simple yet essential skill that everyone should have in order to deal with any emergency situation. So few people actually know how to save a life and it is so important!
Courses are permitted during lockdown as we have a permit. Please note this this is not for the Genesis Clinic venue.
Parents and parents to be, this course is probably one of the most important things you will ever do. You will learn how to handle a medical emergency. You will learn how to save a life.Our courses are endorsed by Resuscitation Council of South Africa and American Heart Association. Discovery rewards 1000 Discovery Miles for attending our course. We have courses running every weekend at different venues in Gauteng and we also run courses in the comfort of your homes with family and friends.
We have been given our essential services certificate and are allowed to run our courses according to Resus Council of South Africa and American Heart Association’s guidelines. We are following all the precautions set out by WHO and absolutely no risks will be taken and the attendees health and safety is of the utmost importance to us.
